About the Archive

A passion project and continual work-in-progress. Thank you for your support!

Hello! Chris here. I’ve always loved the arts, especially youth theater, ever since my high school days when I first experienced the excitement of performing live. Those early experiences left a lasting impression, not just for the exhilaration of the moment but for the ephemeral nature of each show. This realization struck a chord with me—every playbill collected was a snapshot of fleeting moments, filled with the energy and creativity of budding young artists. Inspired by these memories, I felt a strong need to preserve these tokens of youth expression for myself and others. So the idea for this archive was born. Currently, the collection is physically maintained, but I plan to expand its accessibility by digitizing these playbills and hosting them on this website. This will make them not only searchable but also a lasting tribute viewable by all. Thank you for your support as we cherish and safeguard the legacy of youth theater.
